The world is changing and with it, our overall understanding of health and wellness. Mental health is at the forefront of cultural awareness right now and therapy is more accessible than ever. It is my goal as a clinician to help you recognize and embrace the role that mental health plays in your overall sense of well-being. I believe therapeutic “check-ups” are just as vital as routine doctor visits and that preventive mental health care can work wonders for issues both large and small. My hope is that I can help you on your journey to being more proactive and less reactive when it comes to advocating for (and loving!) yourself.

 

I take an eclectic approach to therapy that integrates traditional modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy with modern techniques like grounding and meditation exercises. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaboration in which both parties come to the table open-minded, ready to explore and learn together. Special areas of interest for me include children and teens, new (and soon-to-be new!) mothers, and individuals living with chronic health conditions. I am a member of Postpartum Support International and am actively working toward full certification in Perinatal Mental Health services.
