Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, and/or depression? Are you finding it difficult to parent your child? Have you struggled with addiction, only to relapse? Do you have a history of trauma that makes building and maintaining relationships difficult? I have worked with individuals struggling with all of these things and believe that we can work together to overcome these obstacles and allow you to fully enjoy all that life has to offer.
I utilize training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Substance Abuse, and a Person-centered approach to therapy. I meet you where you are emotionally. I am not here to tell you what to do or what medicine to take, unless those are the avenues you wish to pursue. I am a partner in your treatment. We work together.
I have a therapist of my own. I think that gives me insight into what it is like to be on the other side of help seeking. Anxiety has been something I have struggled with and understand firsthand what it is like to live with every day. I have been in your seat and I believe this allows me to work with you on a deeper level of understanding these challenges.
