HOW WE ACCURATELY ASSESS & DIAGNOSE ADHD

  • Clinical Interview – A Master’s-level clinician meets with you to gather history and context.

  • ADHD Assessment – A 45-60 minute online test measuring attention and symptom severity. This is the tool our medication team and most providers prefer. The assessment must be completed on a computer or tablet (not a phone).

  • Conners‑4 (Teacher/Observer): A structured rating scale completed by teachers to assess ADHD symptoms and related behaviors in children.

  • CAARS‑2 (Adult Observer): An observer‑report questionnaire designed to evaluate ADHD symptoms and functional challenges in adults.

  • Results & Diagnosis – You’ll meet with a clinician and our psychiatric nurse practitioner, who will review your results, provide a diagnosis, and discuss next steps, including medication management if appropriate.

By using sophisticated algorithms and cognitive science, CREYOS provides an accurate, personalized assessment of ADHD symptoms. The detailed results report helps clinicians make informed, evidence-based decisions about diagnosis and treatment, empowering you with clear insights and actionable next steps.

INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEW

After completing the other assessment tools, a client will meet with one of our trained professionals to better understand symptoms and diagnosing.

The CREYOS (formerly Cambridge Brain Sciences) assessment offers a modern, science-backed approach to diagnosing ADHD with unmatched precision.

Unlike traditional assessments, CREYOS uses a series of engaging, evidence-based cognitive tasks to objectively measure brain functions like attention, memory, and executive function—areas commonly impacted by ADHD.

Here’s how CREYOS sets itself apart:

  • Objective Data: Creyos uses real-time cognitive performance metrics, eliminating the guesswork and subjective biases often present in standard questionnaires.

  • Comprehensive Analysis: The assessment evaluates key cognitive domains, including attention, working memory, and impulse control, providing a holistic view of your brain function.

  • Fast & Convenient: In just 30-45 minutes, you can complete the assessment online from the comfort of your home, with immediate results available for review.

  • Clinically Validated: Backed by decades of neuroscience research, Creyos assessments have been rigorously tested and validated, ensuring reliable results you can trust.

The Conners 4 is the latest version of the gold-standard ADHD rating scale for children and adolescents (ages 6–18). Completed by parents, teachers, and the youth themselves, it provides a comprehensive look at attention, hyperactivity/impulsivity, learning challenges, defiance/aggression, and peer/family interactions. Results highlight key symptom patterns and guide diagnostic decisions, school accommodations, and treatment planning. Conners Adult ADHD Rating Scales – 2nd Edition (CAARS-2)

The CAARS-2 is designed for adults (18+) and measures the presence and severity of ADHD symptoms across multiple domains, including inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and self-concept issues. Available in self-report and observer forms, CAARS-2 offers standardized scores that help clinicians better understand daily functioning, symptom impact, and treatment needs.

These two tools complement the Creyos ADHD assessment by adding multi-informant perspectives and validated rating scales for both children and adults, ensuring a thorough and accurate evaluation process.
