MEET AMBER (she/her/hers)

My name is Amber Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and substance use treatment centers. I have experience working with populations of all ages from 3 and up. I have extensive history working in substance use settings and, through that, have developed a passion for helping people work through their trauma and learn about how addiction and trauma affect the brain. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and grounded in the therapeutic relationship. I believe each individual is the expert on their own life, and I work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, values, and goals. I incorporate evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), while tailoring treatment to fit each person's circumstances and preferences.
