ARIEL HOUSTON, LPCA

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

MEET ARIEL (SHE/HER/HERS)

I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy, helping individuals better understand how their experiences have shaped their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use, using evidence-based treatments such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused CBT. My goal is to help clients process unresolved experiences, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and feel less “stuck” in patterns that no longer serve them. In addition to trauma-focused work, I integrate CBT and talk therapy to support clients in building practical coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening their ability to navigate everyday stressors. I collaborate closely with clients to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can gain insight, develop resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is grounded in truth, compassion, and accountability- meaning I will meet you exactly where you are, hold space for what is real, and walk alongside you as you do the deeper work of understanding and changing the patterns that have kept you stuck.
