MEET LINDSAY (she/her/hers)
I am a compassionate therapist who approaches each session with warmth, empathy, and respect. We leave judgement at the door from the very beginning! In my practice, I combine Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), combining the deep emotional connection and attachment-focused work of EFT with the practical, goal-oriented strategies of CBT. I work with couples to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, and rebuild trust. With families to foster understanding, resolve conflict, and enhance connection; and with children to help them express feelings, build coping skills, and thrive in their environments. This blended approach allows me to help clients of all ages not only explore and heal the emotional roots of their struggles, but also develop concrete strategies to navigate challenges and create lasting change. By weaving together emotional insight and evidence-based tools, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where couples, families, and individuals feel understood, empowered, and equipped to move toward healthier relationships while leading more fulfilling lives!
I believe in the power of trying! Therapy is all about new and uncomfortable experiences in order to enact change. What is change without trying something new? I always encourage my clients to try new push themselves into new and possibly uncomfortable things that will ultimately benefit them later on. I know they can do it, I just want to make sure they know they can too!
