Medical Director
MEET MIRA (she/her/hers)
Although I was born and raised in Southern California, my roots run deep in central Kentucky. My mother was born in Crab Orchard, and I spent much of my life visiting here before deciding to make Kentucky my home more than 20 years ago.
I earned my Associate degree from Eastern Kentucky University and began my nursing career in 2006 as a registered nurse. I later completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 and earned my Master of Science in Nursing in December 2017. For 12 years, I served Danville as a registered nurse in Med/Surg, ER, ICU, and Cath Lab, and later as a primary care nurse practitioner in Liberty.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was honored to serve both in New York and again in Danville. Nursing through such a challenging time was profoundly eye-opening, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to care for so many who were struggling alone. Those experiences deepened my compassion and strengthened my belief that everyone deserves respect, understanding, and access to high-quality care.
I am a natural-born caregiver, dedicated to expanding access to comprehensive, compassionate healthcare—especially mental health services, which are an essential part of overall well-being. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the AANP, I currently provide primary care services for those age 13 and up.
No referrals are needed. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your healthcare needs with kindness, respect, and expert care.
