NYLA PARKER, CSW
Certified Social Worker
MEET NYLA (she/her/hers)
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Drawing from psychodynamic and family systems perspectives, I help clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and environments shape their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, IFS-informed interventions, play therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), through a trauma-informed lens to support meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in working with children (4+), adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral regulation challenges, and family conflict. With children, sessions are developmentally appropriate and may incorporate play, creative activities, and caregiver collaboration when beneficial. With adolescents and adults, I provide a supportive, insight-oriented space to process challenges, strengthen coping skills, and foster greater self-awareness, resilience, and healthier relationships. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and connection.
